It is amazing, what the human race as achieved. And it is through innovation that we continue to push forward. Yet as technology advances, one thing remains the same. We are human. Living humans. And Boy do we like to live.
And that is why I like Digital Audio. It is at the crossroads of creative expression and technology that innovation happens. And to contribute to that force that drives us forward is really cool. And when you can simultaneously connect with people from all over the world, communicate in the one universal language, break down barriers of race, or judgment and connect with other humans, well… I couldnt ask for much more.
I Studied Digital Audio Production and Music Theory at SRJC and have a certification from the Berkely College Of Music. I have been making electronic music off and on for 10+ years. I have performed as a DJ at local venues across the San Francisco Bay Area. I have produced instrumentals for rapper "Scando The Dark Lord" as well as countless lesser-known local rappers.
In 2021 I founded a music production company under the name Madeforlife Music llc and ran a shopify store at 3% conversion rate, selling royalty free non-exclusive licenses to my own compositions. Over the course of the business I migrated to wordpress self hosted on amazon AWS before ultimatley moving to a headless architecture using stripe, Amazon S3, Next.js, and Netlify.
I managed all aspects of the business the entire time, However this was my downfall and the llc is dissolving at the end of 2022. I am currently freelancing via Upwork full time
